It’s been somewhat a year since I began teaching group fitness within my company’s gym. I could say I’ve come a long way since those first few classes. I used to duplicate pretty much my entire class from Les Mills programs. And my being and execution was fragile really.
I still remember the high grade after it was officially announced to the company – more than 30 people turned up and it was so packed. Week But I only noticed less than 15 the next! And it kept on decreasing after that. I got that in stride and kept on evolving. 5 of my course was the first release that I completely ceased duplicating from Les Mills. The feel and format are the same, but I choreographed all the tracks myself. It is a great achievement because I consider choreography a step greater than instructing. As an analogy, there are extensive great piano players, but how many of these can write their own items?

Last month my company’s new group fitness hall was opened up and it can finally accommodate 30 – 50 individuals (compared to 15 before renovations). I’m pleased that it only opened lately – it provided me ample time to boost myself and be a better trainer. Unfortunately, no matter how good one is, most employers look for the little piece of paper that expresses you’re certified. And that’s halting me from teaching in the top gyms. Hopefully that will change once I get my BodyJam cert next month. It’s time for another chapter in the interesting world of fitness instructing!
When I’m living every day with this personal plan of recovery and I feel unstoppable, I must always remember, because my opposition is caught today, it doesn’t imply it’s over. While I’m working my plan, my opposition is in the prison lawn lifting weights, planning for a rematch–just looking forward to my safeguard to drop.
I don’t reside in concern with my opponent any more. I do live with a deep respect because of its ferocious power and determination. This perspective helps keep me embracing the daily actions needed for my continued recovery. Every day If this daily plan of action is something I must make important, then I must find ways to make it something I must say I enjoy.
If I enjoy what I’m doing and what I’m eating within the limitations of my food plan, then perhaps this daily thing can be sustainable long-term. I hope so certainly! A day at a time One, right?
