The All-Important Weigh-In

Allowing your week to revolve around one event generally isn’t a good notion. If that one event transforms sour, week so does your. When you are on an eating plan, your weigh-in can become that one event. If your daily diet is important to you, your weigh-in will also be very important for you then.

A weigh-in will provide you with “thumbs up,” “thumbs down” or “hanging on”; it is your weekly progress report. I used to feel elated when I got a “thumbs up,” and dejected down when I got a “thumbs.” Sometimes those feelings would last all week until the next weigh-in, which would confirm the sensation or change it either. Please, make it this method for you don’t.

The weigh-in gives you feedback, and responses are extremely important. Address it as information and stay from the emotional roller coaster. What is it possible to do to help yourself before you step on the size just? Are you experiencing any last requests? Is there anything else you can certainly do to increase your possibility of success? If you are considering taking fast-acting laxatives, I’ll give you a few bonus factors for thinking outside of the box but please do not rely on such substances.

I certainly wouldn’t want to compound my problems by getting addicted to something else besides food. Then there were the entire weeks when I understood I would have a great weigh-in. The night time before weighing myself, I’d lie in my bed, wanting to fall asleep as fast as possible so that tomorrow would arrive sooner. I couldn’t wait to can get on that scale, much like a young child cannot wait around to open his birthday presents.

I would tag down that a couple of pound reduction and glow with satisfaction. My confidence increased on such times. My process of getting on the level is by no means simple. I attempted to get on the scale as gently as it can be rather than jumping on. I didn’t want to rattle the Fat Gods or anything like this. While both tactile hands were pushing off of two different bathroom ledges, I’d place my still left foot on the size.

Slowly I’d raise my right foot onto the scale while my hands were still responsible for cheating the scale reading by 30 pounds. Gradually, I would reduce the pressure from my hands and I would see the reading start to rise. How far would it rise? At the very point my hands would lose contact from the walls, I could see how I had fashioned done that week.

If I gained a pound, I weighed myself again, but I always got the same result. It was worth a go. EASILY lost a few pounds, I did so not weigh myself again. My thinking was that the second weighing may be higher. You will want to leave a good thing alone? Many times before the weigh-in I used to starve myself for a day.

I wanted to toenail the weigh-in that badly. What would happen following the weigh-in? I’d scarf down food for three people enough. I figured I could do that since I wouldn’t have to weigh-in for another seven days. I don’t think this was a good idea (no kidding, Johnny).
